if the stig's sooooo good why would he take a job as top gear test driver instead of racing against the best drivers in the best motoring competition?

Im not saying he wouldn't be faster. Im saying your original statement is idiotic because you jump to conclusions when there is quite a few unknown paramenters. Just like you are jumping to conclusions now. It sure sounds like you are in lack of formal logical capabilities, but you could at least start with reading what people actually say instead of going by your feelings. And how sure are you that Schumacher won't able to driver faster than the Stig in a Gumpert? Schumacher is one of the finest driver, if not the finest, ever to compete in F1. Less illustrious driver such as Lewis Hamilton have demonstrate it is possible to achieve lap time close to Stig's lap despite in wet and oily conditions, so why not Schumacher being faster in Gumpert lap? Dismissing Schumacher's potential to outperform Stig in Gumpert, given the man's record, is plainly idiotic.

Didn't say you were an idiot, I said you posted a idiotic comment. It doesn't matter who drove the F1 it's not the point here. The point here is that Gumpart is most likely driven to the max in the laptime allready. And IF Schumacher could drive it faster around the track than the Stig, then he could do so with all the cars on the board, so it really would't make the Gumpart contextually much better. I'd say Schumacher probably would not post a faster laptime in the Gumpart than the Stig.
